The moment that matters

This is the moment most sync tools get wrong.
Etsy won't let anyone set a listing's quantity to zero, and it has no way to mark something sold out from the outside. So when your shelf empties, a lot of tools just fail quietly and leave the listing up, still live, still taking orders you can't fill.
Truewares deactivates the listing instead. The moment Square hits zero, the Etsy listing comes down. It stops taking orders. It stops embarrassing you.
And when you restock, it comes back. Put 3 more on the shelf, and the listing goes live again on its own: same listing, same reviews, same URL, same search history. Nothing lost, nothing to re-create, no new listing fee.

Add an item to Square and Truewares creates the listing on both channels: photos, variants, price, category, the whole thing. Etsy listings are created as drafts first, so you can review one before it goes live.

Removed products come down

Which direction does the sync go?
One way: Square out to Shopify and Etsy. Square is your source of truth, and nothing overwrites it. That means an accidental edit on Etsy can never corrupt your real catalog.
How does it know which products match?
By SKU. Every Square item variation carries a SKU, and that's the key we use to match it to the right Shopify variant and Etsy listing. Products you already have online get picked up automatically.
How fast is it?
Changes in Square start moving within seconds. Photos and new listings take a little longer because they're bigger uploads.
What about products I only sell in the store?
Mark them as not for sale in Square and they stay put. Nothing that isn't meant for the internet ends up there.
Do I need to rebuild my Etsy listings?
No. Truewares matches your existing listings by SKU and takes over from there. Your listings keep their history, reviews, and URLs.
What happens if something fails to sync?
You get an email naming the product and the reason. Nothing fails silently.
Can I try it on one product first?
Yes. You can sync a single item to see exactly what it looks like on each channel before you turn it loose on the whole catalog.
What if I have more than one Square location?
